Openbor Games Free Download
OpenBOR is the open source continuation of Beats of Rage, a Streets of Rage tribute game originally developed by Senile Team. In the years since it has grown into arguably the single most powerful two dimensional sprite based engine in the world and certainly the most versatile.
The Empire of the Joined Lands has been the real symbol of wealth and power since a long time ago. But now, evil creeped into heart of the Empire, and the Golden Axe was stolen. The council of Defensors was tricked and misguided. The four best warriors of the whole realm are already on pursuit of the enemy. The council gave them the power of Elemental Magick, since great are the dangers they’ll have to face. They know no fear or doubt. In their hearts and minds there’s only the sacred quest: to get back the Golden Axe.
Today i’ll talk about my first game. I’ve done the complete graphic part: sprites, backgrounds, animations sound fx and some sound tracks. Mod by Baritonomarchetto.
It has been a long experience, 7 years of development with some pauses inside. I’ve been helped by Riccardo Terren and almost every night we talked about it trying to do good choises for us and for the people.
We decided to do it for free cause it’s a complete FREE tribute full of love for Sega’s Golden Axe.
You’ll find most of the original features ingame and some new funny things!
